The date of the division finals to choose the player to represent the Boys' Club in the Golden Gloves Championship Tournament was announced by the organizing committee in a press briefing yesterday.  The bout will be held on the seventh of August at Tompkins Square Park.  As expected, this year's contenders are Antonio Cruz and Felix Vargas.  Both reached the finals after a series of elimination bouts.

Antonio and Felix are well known names in the boxing circuits around the city.  They are famous for their deep friendship as well as for their dedication and hard work.  There is a strong fan base for both the youngsters.  The city boxing enthusiasts are excited about the event and anticipate a great spectacle in the ring.

Both fighters are seventeen years old.  Antonio is taller and his fans see it as an advantage.  But Felix fans vouch for the quick and fast movements he is famous for.  Local boxing experts commented that both the fighters might be looking for a quick clean knockout in the first round.  People are also curious to see how this fight is going to affect their friendship.
